Tagi is a beautiful natured girl and is extremely active. We have to remind her she’s almost 8 now and is supposed to be slowing down. She is still jumping 5ft fences, climbing trees to chance possums and sprinting across the paddocks to chase a ‘roo’.
Tagi did well at Obedience and passed all grades up to Advanced Competition Level. She also blessed us with our first home-bred Aust. Champ Amedange Adanna Starr aka ‘Sue-ki, who won Challenge Bitch at the the Brisbane Royal in 2006 and Toowoomba Royal in 2007. Tagi’s son, Ten won Puppy of Breed 2005 at the Brisbane Royal and another daughter Koda has become the first Dogue in the state of Tasmania to be awarded Runner Up in Group and has also gained her Australian Champion title, and is the second Champion that Tagi produced. Tagi’s granddaughter Roxy has also now gained her Australian Champion title as well.
Tagi retired from the Conformation Show ring in 2004 and is now the ‘matriarch’ of our family, spending her days on the couch and every evening grooming all the dogues in our family and sometimes the cats as well.
Tagi achieved her Aust. Champ. Title in 2003. Tagi has been hip and elbow scored.
