Sueki was the progeny of our first ever litter.  So of course, we couldn’t bare to part with her.  She received excellent reviews for her conformation, type and temperament.  Great bone structure, muscle formation a good head all wrapped up with a wonderful outgoing personality and “movement to die for”.  Her pedigree name means “fiery little one”, and yes she certainly kept us on our toes.  We called her our Velcro dogue, because she was always stuck to my leg...

She obtained her Australian title in 2005 and provided us with one litter of 8 gorgeous bubs.  Sueki excelled at obedience and was just about to start her agility career.  Her daughter Roxy has gone on to do her mum proud and gain her Aust Champ title as well.  Sueki was hip and elbow scored.

Words cannot express the loss that I am feeling.  My heart is broken and will never be the same.  My darling girl, my sweetest Sueki.  So suddenly you were called from this world, too short for us to say our farewells.  I will never forget you my sweet.  My first born baby, I never thought you would be the first to leave me.

How dearly I wish that I could join you now and we could be together forever.

Nothing will ever replace you my ‘Sue-Sue’.

You were my greatest companion through the hardest of times and were always at my side.  Your head on knee all day and all night, staring intently into my eyes with the greatest compassion and understanding.  I never had to give you commands you always knew what I was thinking.  We had our special little way of understanding each other.

Our last walk together, when you left me and walked yourself home will always stay with me forever....

I STOOD BY YOUR BED LAST NIGHT.  I CAME TO HAVE A PEEP.
I COULD SEE THAT YOU WERE CRYING.  YOU FOUND IT HARD TO SLEEP.

I WHINED TO YOU SOFTLY AS YOU BRUSHED AWAY A TEAR,
“IT’S ME, I HAVEN’T LEFT YOU, I’M WELL, I’M FINE, I’M HERE”

I WAS CLOSE TO YOU AT BREAKFAST, I WATCHED YOU POUR THE TEA.
YOU WERE THINKING OF THE MANY TIMES, YOUR HANDS REACHED DOWN TO ME.

I WAS WITH YOU AT THE SHOPS TODAY, YOUR ARMS WERE GETTING SORE.
I LONGED TO TAKE YOUR PARCELS, I WISH I COULD DO MORE.

I WAS WITH YOU AT MY GRAVE TODAY, YOU TEND IT WITH SUCH CARE.
I WANT TO REASSURE YOU, THAT I’M NOT LYING THERE.

I WALKED WITH YOU TOWARDS THE HOUSE, AS YOU FUMBLED FOR YOUR KEY.
I GENTLY PUT MY PAW ON YOU, I SMILED AND SAID “IT’S ME”.
YOU LOOKED SO VERY TIRED, AND SANK INTO A CHAIR.
I TRIED SO HARD TO LET YOU KNOW, THAT I WAS STANDING THERE.

IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME, TO BE SO NEAR YOU EVERYDAY.
TO SAY TO YOU WITH CERTAINTY, “I NEVER WENT AWAY’.
YOU SAT VERY QUIETLY, THEN SMILED, I THINK YOU KNEW...
IN THE STILLNESS OF THAT EVENING, I WAS VERY CLOSE TO YOU.

THE DAY IS OVER....I SMILE AND WATCH YOU YAWNING AND SAY
“GOODNIGHT, GOD BLESS, I’LL SEE YOU IN THE MORNING”.

AND WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT
FOR YOU TO CROSS THE BRIEF DIVIDE,
I’LL RUSH ACROSS TO GREET YOU
AND WE’LL STAND SIDE BY SIDE.
I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SHOW YOU,
THERE IS SO MUCH FOR YOU TO SEE.

BE PATIENT, LIVE YOUR JOURNEY OUT....
THEN COME HOME TO BE WITH ME.
